So I've been using dating sites off and on for years, but they've never really been a successful way to meet partners. There's probably some method to the madness, but I don't know the secret.

One thing that is becoming increasingly a problem for me is that I'm getting older but I don't want to be dating women my age. There's a fundamental reason for my age bias, which is that most women who are between 38-42 already either have a family / kids or don't want kids at all. As I happent to want the option of having kids it restricts who I can date in terms of age and situation.
