Here are some photos from one of the Carfree festival days during the summer. It was amazing to see at least 5 blocks closed off to traffic. It reminded me about what my friend Judy told me about her time in Venice - everything is so quiet without the sound of cars !
These photos from the previous summer's Vancouver folk festival were
taken outside the festival grounds near the water. There were so many
beautiful people and colorful fabrics and silver jewelry filling the
eyes with imagery of a middle eastern bazaar.
